Asked 3 years ago (Feb 04, 2021) in the field of Operating Systems by Matt.J

When I run the command ‘’ sudo systemctl disable httpd’’ while working on CentOS 8, I face an error:‘’ Failed to execute operation: Access denied’’ I tried to solve it by running with the root user but again another error occurred:‘’ Failed to execute operation: Access denied’’ Could anyone please help me?

Dear Matt
To solve this problem, you should open the access of the service in SElinux. You can also unable the SElinux by running the command below:

setenforce 0
